Love the sessions at Butcherbird Collective…always focusing on tone and texture to create the perfect ‘feel’. In this case using ‘hot rods’ incorporating a Motown x-stick, rim clicks, open hi-hat accents over a syncopated bass drum pattern (through the changes) and not forgetting that big back-beat snare. You’ve got to love your profession.
