The nuances and subtleties within the brush drum pattern are what give it its weight and depth...the variations are predominantly in the hands. Applying three differing techniques/rhythms on the floor tom (one for each section) plus two left-foot hi-hat variations (augmented with an attached tambourine). The snare has the addition of ghost notes to the accented backbeats as the song builds. The bass drum holds down the 1&3 throughout. This is the attention to detail that is often missed when attempting to play simple drum patterns and which the listener (and other musicians) hear and feel...and what makes all the difference. Playing to 92bpm click headphones.
